The island is located on a coral reef 5 km north of Amini Island. It has a length of 8 km. North to South and has a maximum width of about 0.5 km, having an area of a total of 3.12 km². The average annual temperature varies from 24.2 to 34.4 deg. Celsius. The average annual rainfall is 1237 mm.
