, KRAJ started simulcasting Jones' "Good Time Oldies" format, and the format of the local programs was adjusted shortly after. In the first few months, KRAJ kept their local specialty shows from The Zone but later replaced them with syndicated programs that were originally heard on KCEL

In the summer of 2005, KFXM signed on with an oldies format from Lancaster, California

, and many of KRAJ's listeners migrated to KFXM because it had a stronger and cleaner signal. In late 2005, KRAJ dropped the oldies format in favor of a Hip hop

 format called 100.9 The Party Station, the format stayed but the name was changed to 100.9 The Heat in summer 2006.

The oldies format was moved to KLOA (AM)
