Calgary Stampeders

Turner was drafted ninth overall in the second round of the 2011 CFL Draft by the Calgary Stampeders. He was later signed to a contract with the Stampeders on May 20, 2011.

Personal life

Turner graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School in June 2006. During his off season he resides in his family home with his parents and younger brother who attends the University of Wilfred Laurier.
