. The Double Digest series are larger versions of the Archie Digest publication line. The regular Digests were 128 pages (now 80), while the Double Digests were 256 pages (now 160), hence the name Double Digest. Jughead's Double Digest Magazine began publication in Oct 1989 on a quarterly basis, but is now published ten times a year and features several new Jughead stories along with the reprints. Currently, Jughead's Double Digest Magazine is past issue #160. It is being published today along with Archie's Pal Jughead Comics the 32-page regular sized comic book.

Issue #138 reprinted the entire first issue of Archie's Pal Jughead Comics from 1949.
