It was while working there that Ferrara discovered the need for a solution that would enable his office to work as an effective team by tracking and managing their contacts, prospects, activities, communications and sales forecasts. The idea of a networkable Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool developed, and a few years later, more than 1.2 million people were managing their business relationships with GoldMine.
