In the late 1960s, McIndoe worked with Beatles publist Brian Summervile. In 1969, he was working as lead singer for a new band for Apple Records

After The Bugaloos ended, McIndoe returned to the United Kingdom

, and worked with Lynton Guest of the band The Love Affair. He also dabbled in music projects for PYE Records

. McIndoe also specializes in live anamantronics utilized at themes parks and fast foot restaurants. In the late 1990s he started a film project called Mates - The Wizards of Ozstralia.

McIndoe, who now resides in Sedona, Arizona, is no longer acting, but as of 2006 is still writing and performing music. That same year, The Bugaloos DVD set was released with McIndoe providing audio commentary for several episodes. He is also featured in an interview as well as an "I.Q." trivia game about the show.
