. The school currently teaches around 600 students in a three-story red brick school building, which includes a computer lab and is adjacent to a playground of about 1 acres (4,046.9 m²). Usually, there are two or three classes at each grade level. The school is currently undergoing a renovation.

The school was established by the town in 1897 and named after the second President of MIT

The school offers several sports teams including Cross Country, Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, and Track and Field.
