John Clarke (born April 14, 1932) in South Bend, Indiana is an American actor.
John Clarke was the first actor to play Mickey Horton on the American soap opera Days of our Lives, starring on the show from its debut in 1965 until he retired early in 2004 due to health concerns. He was replaced in the role by John Ingle, who left in 2006. John had also done an episode of The Twilight Zone in 1959 with Ida Lupino in The Sixteen-Millimeter Shrine.
His daughter is actress Melinda Clarke, who started out on Days of our Lives and later moved on to play the sexy Julie Cooper-Nichol on the television series The O.C..
