John C. Green School of Science

History

This institution, endowed by Mr. John C. Green, was established in September 1873 located near the corner of Nassau Street and Washington Road. It was a department of the College of New Jersey (original name of Princeton University) established for the purpose of giving a thorough scientific training, together with a liberal education.
