John & Jehn started their musical career when they moved from their hometowns to London at the back end of 2006, and the first song they ever wrote together was "20 L 07". Since then they have impressed music fans and journalists with their Lo-fi, rock'n'roll sound. The two are a couple. Influenced by Serge Gainsbourg

, John and Jehn's music is a collection of sonic experiments, carried by dark humour on pop melodies. They released their debut album, nearly all of which was recorded in their bedroom, through indie label FMM (Faculty Music Media) in April 2008 to critical acclaim.

In 2010, John & Jehn settle back in London. They tour in Europe, appear on the front cover of Artrocker magazine and play their single "And We Run" and "Down our Streets" for Tom Robinson and Jonathan Ross at the BBC.

In 2011 they create their own label called Pop Noire which aims to release their new records and other artists produced by John in the John & Jehn studio in London. The first release is the artist LESCOP with the track "La Foret" (produced by John and video by Jehn) released in October 2011.
In 2009, Berthomier also appeared as an actress in Sodium Babies.
