Jesús Mari Lazkano (Bergara, 1960) is a Spanish Basque painter.
Doctored in Fine Arts by the University of the Basque Country, his work is usually inspired by architectural structures that attract his attention. He uses this inspiration to paint original views of these buildings out of their original context, over deep, beautiful landscapes. He has made just such a series of paintings of buildings from the Basque Country, Rome and New York City.
