The organization Jeno's Pizza, was created (in honor of Jeno Hodi) on 1 October 1973, the first outlet was established in the city of Bogotá , in the race 15 with 77th Street neighborhood Lake, then in 1976 open another outlet in the Cll. 39 with Carrera 13. In July 2007 opens on Jeno's Club Barranquilla giving a new theme to the club will have a better arcades, replicas of large dinosaurs and novelty, Jeno's Bar Later in 2008 the opening of Jeno's Club Cartagena Bocagrande and in February 2009, Jeno's Club Santa Isabel in Bogotá.
Nationally, the first city with a branch of Jeno's Pizza was Cartagena , then continued Medellin , Melgar , Girardot and Cali . Currently, Jeno's Pizza has 91 outlets and getting one of the largest coverage nationwide in chain restaurants.
In June 2010 the chain was acquired by the multinational Telepizza adding to the more than 900 restaurants the multinational worldwide. By December 2010, the company shall have completed the refurbishment of 15 of its 80 outlets continuing this work in 2011 to modernize its existing infrastructure. The investment in this purpose is estimated at $ 3,680 million. Jeno's Pizza additionally defined a strengthening and expansion plan for 2011, which the company plans to open 30 new offices for a total of 110 outlets. Investment in the expansion project is about $ 6,000 million.
The opening of new points of Jeno's Pizza were held in major cities where it currently has a presence in Bogota, Cali, Medellin, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Bucaramanga. Additionally, the three cities in the coffee Pereira, Manizales and Armenia have also Jeno's Pizza in 2011.
