Jeanne Eagels (aka The Jeanne Eagels story) is a 1957 fictionalised biographical film of the life of stage star Jeanne Eagels, made by Columbia Pictures. It was produced and directed by George Sidney from a screenplay by John Fante, Daniel Fuchs and Sonya Levien, based on a story by Fuchs. The music was by Mischa Bakaleinikoff, George Duning, Gil Grau and Howard Jackson, and the cinematography by Robert H. Planck. The art direction was by Ross Bellah and the costume design by Jean Louis.
The film stars Kim Novak and Jeff Chandler with Charles Drake, Agnes Moorehead, Larry Gates, Virginia Grey, Gene Lockhart and Murray Hamilton.
