He signed a 2 years contract with APOEL on July 2008 after a successful 3 years play in Wisła Kraków. He made his official debut with APOEL at the 1st Qualify Round of UEFA CUP 2008–09 and at his 3rd game with his new team he got a heavy injury during the game against Red Star Belgrade for the 2nd Qualify Round of UEFA CUP 2008–09 on August 2008, an injury that kept him away from matches for almost a year.
