His most recently released work is Chaplin at Essanay: A Film Artist in Transition. His most recently completed book is The Fall of Buster Keaton, dealing with the comedian's talkies for MGM, Educational Studios, and Columbia Pictures. His next project has him again teaming up with Okuda for a book on the solo films of Stan Laurel.
