Holding's work has appeared in connection with various other apologetics ministries as well, and has occasioned rebuttals from such prominent atheists as G. A. Wells and Richard Carrier

Name changes

Holding was born with the name "James Patrick Holding". When he was an infant, his name was legally changed to "Robert Turkel". When Holding started getting involved in online apologetics, he decided to use his original name as a pseudonym. Eventually, in July 2007, he announced that he had changed his name back to his birth name.
