Invented sport

An invented sport is a sport which was conceived and developed by a single person, team, or committee. While its rules may be subject to later modifications, an invented sport has a direct lineage to a complete set of rules designed by an inventor to be different from what was before, rather than an improvement of an existing sport or contest.
