The words of the National Pledge are:

India is my country.
All Indians are my brothers and sisters.
I love my country and I am proud of its rich and varied heritage.
I shall always strive to be worthy of it.
I shall give my parents, teachers and all elders respect and treat everyone with courtesy.
To my country and my people, I pledge my devotion.
In their well being and prosperity alone, lies my happiness.

ભારત મારો દેશ છે.
બધા ભારતીયો મારા ભાઈ બહેન છે.
હું મારા દેશને ચાહું છું અને તેન સમૄધ્ધ અને વૈવિધ્યપુર્ણ વારસાનો મને ગર્વ છે.
હું સદાય તેને લાયક બનવા પ્રયત્ન કરીશ
હું મારા માતા-પિતા; શિક્ષકો અને વડીલો પ્રત્યે આદર રાખીશ અને દરેક જણ સાથે સભ્યતાથી વર્તીશ.
હું મારા દેશ અને દેશ બાંધવોને મારી નિષ્ઠા અર્પૂં છુ.
તેમના કલ્યાણ અને સમૄધ્ધીમાં જ મારું સુખ રહયું છે.

இந்தியா என் தாய் நாடு . இந்தியர் யாவரும் என் உடன் பிறந்தோர்.

என் நாட்டை நான் பெரிதும் நேசிக்கிறேன். என் நாட்டின் பழம்பெருமைக்காகவும் பன்முக மரபிற் சிறப்பிற்காகவும் நான் பெருமிதம் அடைகிறேன். இந்நாட்டின் பெருமைக்கு தகுந்து விளங்கிட நான் என்றும் பாடுபடுவேன்.

என் பெற்றோர், ஆசிரியர், மூத்தோர் அனைவரையும் மதித்து யாவரிடமும் மரியாதையும் பணிவன்புடனும் நடந்து கொள்வேன்.

எனது நாட்டிற்கும், எனது மக்களுக்கும் உழைத்திட முனைந்து நிற்பேன். அவர்கள் நலமும் வளமும் பெறுவதிலே நான் என்றும் மகிழ்ச்சி காண்பேன்.
