History

Impregilo was founded in 1959, and the present company is the result of a merger in 1990 with Cogefar-Impresit S.p.A., Girola S.p.A. and Lodigiani S.p.A., each of which was a major successful player in the international construction sector.

The company is organised into three businesses: Construction, Engineering & Plant Construction, Concessions.
