The first edition of this event took place in 1995 at Vooruit

 and attracted 700 people. Because of the sudden growth of the party, the event had to move to Flanders Expo. I Love Techno has become one of the biggest techno events in Europe.
In Flanders Expo there is one central room and connected to this room are 5 other rooms: the Red, the Yellow, the Blue, the Orange and the Green room. In these rooms the action takes place.
