Hui Liangyu (; born October 1944 in Jilin Province) is the Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China in charge of agriculture.
Liangyu was born in October 1944 in Jilin Province. He is a member of the Hui (Chinese Muslim) ethnic group.
Since 1969, he has been working for the Communist Party and the Chinese Government in a number of positions, rising to full membership in the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee since November 2002.

Hui Liangyu was born in October 1944 in Jilin Province. He is a member of the Hui (Chinese Muslim) ethnic group.
Since 1969, he has been working for the Communist Party and the Chinese Government in a number of positions, rising to full membership in the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee since November 2002. He was the CPC party chief in Jiangsu from 2000 to 2002. Since 2003, he has been a Vice Premier.
Note that his last name has nothing to do with his ethnicity.
