Hugh Harris (born 1964) is an English musician most known for his song "Rhythm Of Life" for the film Uncle Buck. The song is taken from his 1989 album "Words for Our Years". His first album did get good reviews and he was compared to Prince, Terence Trent D'arby and Tracy Chapman, however due to serious illness disappeared from the music business.

In the late 80's and early 90's, Hugh was in a relationship with Irish singer Sinéad O'Connor.the song seven days was on the soundtrack for kalifornia has worked with ice -t , wendy melvoin , susan rodgers , gary katz planet funk , tony kaye amp fiddler ,giovanotti the banned
e.t.c and now writes and produces under his own name
