, where he meets Holly once more, and they run into Jaws, who is now working for Drax. They escape Jaws, but are captured by Drax's men disguised as paramedics. Bond escapes from the ambulance speeding towards Drax's base, but has to leave Holly behind.
Holly reunites with Bond after he escapes being burned to death underneath Drax's Moonraker 5 with help of his detonator watch. They then take the places of the
Moonraker 6 pilots. In the Christopher Wood novelization of the film, at this point in the story she tells Bond (who is of course a naval commander, equivalent to a lieutenant-colonel) that she is a full colonel, and therefore outranks him. After a battle aboard Drax's space station, they escape in
Moonraker 5, destroying the globes Drax intends to kill the human race with, and make love while orbiting the Earth.
The film ends with the representatives of their respective nations catching Holly suggestively tangled in sheets with Bond on a video feed from Drax's ship.
