Hibiscus striatus
Encyclopedia
The Striped Hibiscus, Hibiscus striatus, is a plant in the Malvaceae (mallow) family. A strange thing about the Striped Hibiscus is that it isn’t striped, only “striatus” means “striped”! Its flowers are 5 inches across, some of the largest flowers of any mallow plant.
