    – "Herbie VS Nascar"

"Nice Car By Melodia"

Another elusive track in the film was a song titled "Nice Car" By Melodia. It plays in the scene where Lindsay Lohan's character maggie is tempted by Trip Murphy. The track is actually an unreleased song by the alternative genre sensation sol seppy (formerly a member of the band Sparklehorse). The song has never been released due to copyright control fight with the producer of the track. Which is why it was not included on the soundtrack and why it received a fake pen name in the credits. The song was re-worked by DAVIDXXX. He gave it for free download on his website (where it was later taken down by IC3.gov). To date it has been downloaded more than 100,000 times (thanks to P2P networks). His version of the track was rewritten and featured a more simple production
approach to the track. It also has a more complex lyrical chorus, and what DAVIDXXX described as a "beat interlude".
