This had a knock on effect to the 3rd team, who were also moved up to fill the gaps left in the 2nd team, and because of this there are no longer enough players at the club for them to successfully field 3 teams, meaning there is no longer a 3rd team.
History
Helston Athletic have won the Cornwall Combination twice, first in 1987-88 and then again in 2000-01. During their tenure in the South Western League, their best finish was third in the 1964-65 season.
