HawaiiReporter.com was founded in November 2002 by Malia Zimmerman and Jay McWilliams, both who have served as reporters and editors for many publications in Hawaii. Focusing on government, politics, business, and education, HawaiiReporter.com also collects and researches 20 kinds of public records and has contributed to a number of books published in the United States and Japan on these issues.
