Dr. Gregory Stark is an original fictional character in the Ultimate Marvel
Comics universe.
, his profession includes being an extremely confident and amoral weapons industrialist, while also being the brains behind Nick Fury's
covert, black-ops project, the Ultimate Avengers
. His job entails supplying tech & hardware that his brother wouldn’t dare create, in addition to helping draft and develop members for the Avengers field team itself, generally including 'heroes' who can do the jobs the main Ultimates
team won't, such as War Machine (James Rhodes, Tony Stark's former best friend) for example.
Notably estranged from his younger brother for unknown reasons, he’s also considered to possibly be more intelligent, and therefore far more dangerous. However, very little is yet known regarding his own background and upbringing. Despite being twins, Gregory was born twenty minutes before Tony, leading Tony to mock him for being older, much to his brother's annoyance. In contrast to his brother, Gregory has blonde hair and typically wears white suits, unlike Tony who has jet black hair and usually dons dark colored suits.
Gregory apparently died at the hands of Thor in Ultimate Comics: Avengers vs. New Ultimates
after being made vulnerable to attack by an E.M.P unleashed by Tony Stark, and after collaborating with Tyrone Cash
to frame Carol Danvers and to start a super human arms race.
