History
Granville Island Brewing dates back to 1984 when Mitch Taylor started the brewery. Between 1984 and 2005 Granville Island Brewing released 5 new beers. In August 2005 Andrew Peller Wines purchased Granville Island Brewing. In 2006 Granville Island Brewing renovated and expanded into their Kelowna brewing facility. In 2009 Molson Coors purchased Granville Island Brewing (through their subsidiary, Creemore Spring Brewing) from Andrew Peller Wines.Location and Operations
