Glu came under fire online after removing "Glyder", "Glyder2", and "Beat it" from the iTunes App Store after problems arose with the introduction of Apple's iOS4 update in 2010, leaving those who had purchased these games with broken and unplayable versions. Some users discussing the company decision in a forum claim to have been told by Glu that there were no plans to update the games in question.

Many consumers have accused Glu of knowingly allowing an unplayable game that had been earmarked for removal from the iTunes App Store to remain on sale at heavily discounted prices.
