George Kollias, PhD, is President and Scientific Director of Alexander Fleming BSRC and the coordinator of MUGEN NoE. He obtained his BSc and his PhD from the University of Athens (Greece). He was a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institute for Medical Research in London UK (1985-1987). He was the Head of the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics at the Hellenic Pasteur Institute in Athens, Greece (1989-2000) and the Director of Institute for Immunology at FLM (2000-2002).
