Geography

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 649 square miles (1,682 kmē), of which, 640 square miles (1,657 kmē) of it is land and 10 square miles (25 kmē) of it (1.49%) is water.

Most of the land in the county is very flat, but the southern end is hilly and covered by several lakes.
