Garden Towers

The Garden Towers is a high-rise building in the city of Frankfurt
which was built in 1976 to Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen (Helaba). Known as Helaba-Hochhaus, it was one of the first skyscrapers in Frankfurt's banking district. In 2005 it was opened after a nuclear reorganization under a new name again. The building was designed by Novotny Mähner Assoziierte

The Garden Towers, two towers, is the highest 127 meters high. Tower A has 25 floors and Tower B has 14 floors. The towers were completely gutted, leaving only the steel and concrete skeleton. After the removal of asbestos, it was re-dressed, the polygonal shape of the structure remained unchanged. The structural feature of the Garden Towers are twelve conservatories, which were carved into the facade. Most of the office floors provide either direct access to their own garden or enjoy views of the two-storey conservatories.
Until the reconstruction, it was used by Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen, now several companies (including the Germany subsidiary of Societe Generale, Cerberus, Germany, Huxley Associates and Frankfurter Sparkasse 1822 Private Banking) are represented on the rise. The Landesbank moved into office space in 1999 at the adjacent Maintower
