The e-Reader card series is also officially incompatible because although the accessory can fit, the design of the e-Reader makes the "Select" and "Start" buttons difficult to access during gameplay. Some games, however, can be played without e-Reader insertion, since the games are loaded straight to the Micro's RAM after scanning, and will run off of it without the e-Reader inserted.
