. It is described as a circlet of red gold adorned with phoenix feathers. Traditionally this is depicted as a metal headband with two striped feathers attached to the front, presumably the signature plumage of the fenghuang or Chinese phoenix. Sun Wukong is given this item by Ao Qin to go with the Ruyi Jingu Bang. Later on in the story, it is replaced an enchanted fillet given to him by his master Xuanzang
