Geography

Fideris has an area, , of 25.3 km² (9.8 sq mi). Of this area, 60.7% is used for agricultural purposes, while 27.6% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 2.7% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (9%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains).

The municipality is located in the Jenaz sub-district of the Prättigau/Davos district. It is a cross shaped linear village
