At an early age he already showed great skill and needed special permission to sing as a professional at that age. He sang regularly for three years taking a break soon after and returning later to conclude his career.

He died of a heart attack, aged 69, in hospital.

Fernando Maurício (21 de novembro de 1933, Mouraria, Lisboa, Portugal - 15 de julho de 2003, em Lisboa, Portugal) foi um cantor e fadista Português.

Na tenra idade, ele já mostrou grande habilidade e precisava de uma autorização especial para cantar como um profissional com essa idade. Cantou regularmente durante três anos, tendo uma pausa logo após, retornando mais tarde para concluir a sua carreira.

Ele ajudou a levar o fado para a televisão no final dos anos 1960, recebendo vários prêmios, um deles dado pelo presidente Português. [Carece de fontes?]

Ele morreu de um ataque cardíaco, aos 69 anos, no hospital.
