Eyal Golan, (; born April 12, 1971), is an Israeli singer who sings in the Mizrahi style. He was born Eyal Biton in Marmorek, Rehovot, Israel on April 12, 1971.
Golan started performing in nightclubs at the age of 16. His first album, "Whisper in the Night" was released in 1993. In 1996 he put out another album, called "Live Performance," which included songs from famous Israeli singers such as Shlomo Artzi. However it was his third album, "Without You," that boosted him into the limelight and was particularly well received in Israel. The album, which went platinum, featured tracks written and composed by two members of the popular Tel Aviv band Ethnix, Ze'ev Nehama and Tamir Kalinsi.
Eyal was managed for a long time by producer Ishai Ben Zur, who was responsible for the success of many of Eyal's albums. However, because of a money dispute, they are currently not working together any more.
Some of Eyal's most famous songs are "Malkat HaYofi Sheli" (My Beauty Queen), "Yafa Sheli" (My Beautiful), "Liknot Lakh Yahalom (hebrew :????? ?? ?????)" (To Buy You a Diamond), and "Hoze Otach Muli" (Dreaming You Opposite Me), the title track from his most recent hit album.
