The Exhibition Road Project is a plan by the local authority, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea

, to improve the street's design to reflect its cultural importance. The scheme also looks at surrounding streets. The general aim is to discourage through traffic and give pedestrians greater priority over any remaining traffic. The project also seeks to improve the artistic and architectural merit of the streetscape of Exhibition Road.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints also has a Chapel on this road
