The designer gained first international recognition in 2000 with her collection „Déclaration d’amour à l’Allemagne“. Her collections with mostly linear cut and clear forms confront current political and social discussions and themes. Eva Gronbach‘s fashion is sold in Europe, Asia and the USA. In 2006, Gronbach designed a shoe collection for the sport shoe producer Möbus. For the soccer World Cup 2006 Eva Gronbach produced the official Fan-T-Shirt for the Initiative „Deutschland – Land der Ideen“ (“Germany: Land of Ideas”) under the patronage of Federal President Horst Köhler.
2008 the Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung contracted Eva Gronbach for the design of accessories for the theater festival „ECHT! - Politik im freien Theater“.

Since May 2008, Eva Gronbach is a guest lecturer at the Köln International School of Design

 area that was sponsored by the region North-Rhine Westphalia. The developed designs will be presented in July 2010 at RUHR.2010 in a fashion show.
2004 the designer received the „T-com inspire!award“ for her collection „Déclaration d’amour à l’Allemagne“.
2005 she curated the exhibition "The Fashion Generation" for the Stadtmuseum Landeshauptstadt Düsseldorf. For this exhibition she travelled to the world's most renowned art schools in over 30 countries to collect leading design ideas. Verlag Hatje Cantz published the catalogue "the fashion generation" to the show. From 50 schools Gronbach chose the most interesting designs inspired by locality. The art schools visited were in Tokyo, New York, Paris, London but also in upcoming fashion towns like Ulan Bator/Mongolia, Tashkent/Usbkistan, Cape Town/South Africa, Dakar/Senegal, Kingston/Jamaika, Caracas/Venezuela, Reikiavik/Iceland, Shanghai/China, Auckland/New Zealand etc. She exposed all the designs next to each other and showed that there is one trend all over the world: local inspiration by global consciousness.

In 2003, Eva Gronbach worked as guest curator for the exhibition „.In. Femme Fashion – 1780-2004“ at Museum für Angewandte Kunst_(Köln). Focus was the modeling of femininity in the change of times.http://www.goethe.de/KUE/des/prj/mod/dsg/abc/en4084364.htm
In May 2008 the eva gronbach store[1] opened in Cologne‘s hip Belgian quarter. The eva gronbach store cooperated in 2009 with young, Belgian fashion designers. Together with the Belgischen Haus Köln [2] the designers presented their fashion for a few weeks to the German market. Eva Gronbach deepend with this the connection between Brussels and Cologne, Belgium and Germany.

Gronbach founded the labels „[evagronbach]“ and „[german jeans]“http://www.germanjeans.com/.

„[german jeans]“http://www.germanjeans.com/ is a basic collection for men and women which is offered next to her Couture collection. It is inspired by the coal miners. The clothes are produced of used coal miner‘s work wear which are grey-beige and have obvious stains. Brand mark of Eva Gronbach is a stylized eagle (similar to the German national eagle) which is stamped with her name visibly on many of her pieces.

2000/01: „Déclaration d`amour à l’Allemagne“ - fashion love declaration to Germany.

2002: „Liebeserklärung an Deutschland“ elegant line in black and white with applications in the National German colors black/red/yellow (gold).

2003: „mutter erde vater land“ – Sweatshirts and jackets with applications of the eagle‘s wings (German national eagle). The National German colors black/red/yellow (gold) are used offensively. Some designs have printed wordings like „Heimat ist Heimat“ (Home land is home land), „schwarz rot gold“ (black, red, gold) or „mutter erde vater land“ (mother earth father land). Most models are of mixed German and African or Asian background.

2004/2005: „my new police dress uniform“ – comfortable leisure look in dark blue. National eagle and colours are used as symbols.

Autumn/Winter 2005/06: „myfile – mein Profil“ – Fashion as a statement about the self. In cooperation with Bayer MaterialScience
