) appeared on the show, as an inept sound effects man who was constantly interrupting Jack and his cast with impromptu sound effects.

Twombley was Benaderet's second husband. He died of a heart attack in 1968 on the day of his wife's funeral, just four days after her death. Benadaret had been ill with cancer for over a year before. They are interred together at Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery
