e/i was the second magazine founded, published and edited by electronic music journalist Darren Bergstein, following the 1980s to 1990's run of i/e magazine. Closer in style to The Wire and Signal to Noise than other magazines, it focused on chronicling the history of electronic music.
In mid-2006, e/i Magazine announced that it was no longer publishing any print issues. However, in February 2007, the publisher announced that the magazine had revised its website, leading to a relaunch of the magazine as an online entity.
