Honorary assistant bishops

As of September 2011, the honorary assistant bishops of the diocese include the Rt Revd Alan Winstanley, former Bishop of Bolivia and Peru (Anglican Church of the Southern Cone of America). In September 2011, it was announced that Winstanley will move to Exeter diocese (where, presumably, he will become an honorary assistant bishop, vacating that role in Blackburn).
