  • Jimmy Vaughan (an English distributor of the film) distributed it illegally because he didn't have the rights to it and was subsequently pulled into a two-year legal battle with the one of the prominent New York mafia families (who did own the rights to it). After two years, the case was settled and Jimmy Vaughan had to pay the opposition $200,000.
