When Namor and his fellow teammates in the Defenders arrived on the outskirts of his homeworld Atlantis, they were confronted by the Deep Six and Attuma's Army forces. However, before it could come into conflict, the Defenders all teleported to safety wanting to make a proper strategy first. (also, the Defenders had more important business to attend to first)

A few days later, the Defenders decided to take another try. The heroes utilized a battle strategy that kept Attuma and Nagala busy, while the other members could be defeated more easily. Hulk

 refused to cooperate with this plan and confronted Orka alone, but the rest followed through. The Defenders eventually easily defeated Piranha, Sea Urichin and Tiger Shark as well. Nagala was left, but she eventually got knocked out by the Silver Surfer

. Namor took care of Attuma and the group was finally defeated.

With this defeat, the Deep Six apparently decided to disband as of Defenders v2 #11.

Sidenote

This group was named after the other Atlantean group known as the Deep Six, who debuted in Namor the Sub-Mariner v1 #58 (January, 1995)
