He is best known for his hosting of several television shows found on C4 but also performs stand up comedy.A little known fact on Dai is that he has spent a year in Northern America as expedition leader for a privatley funded sasquatch discovery team. Unfortunaley for Dai whilst showering one morning in the densest forests of America one of the expedition members mistook Dai for the mythical beast, due to his expansive and often noted luxuriant body hair and shot him with a tranquiliser dart. Dai was quoted later on as saying that laser hair reduction treatment was on his list of priorities.

Life and career

Henwood was born in 1978 to Ray and Carolyn Henwood. Henwood studied Theatre and Film at Victoria University of Wellington

, graduating with a BA in eastern religions, before winning 'Best New Face' on TV2's Pulp Comedy in 1999 and a Billy T Award
