The Czech Centres comprise an organisation funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
of the Czech Republic
. Its goal is to promote the Czech language
and Czech culture abroad. It was created in 1986, and is based in Prague
. There are currently twenty-three Czech Centres in twenty countries around the world.
