It also featured a real-time, multitasking operating system where the number of tasks were only limited by the processing speed of the CPU (Motorola 68000 family) and memory available (contrary to most robot controllers that usually offered none, one or perhaps a few background tasks for real-time events). C3G was developed in part by Trellis Software and Control in Detroit.
