Band history

Cloudride was founded in early 2001 and after some member changes the band began to record demos in spring 2002 and participated at regional talent contests. In 2003, the first commercial release, the EP

By the end of 2003 Cloudride established its own band room studio to rehearse continually. In May Cloudride released 2004 the second EP White Door, produced with support of the friendshipped band Generic. Cloudride's performance became more frequent in the region; in June 2004 they played at the main stage of the annual Imagine festival.

Cloudride's first longplayer Overlooked was released in Switzerland on September 15, 2006 on Helium Records (RecRec). The release was followed by a tour through Switzerland and got the band to open for the Manchester-based band Amplifier

On September 19 2008, Cloudride are going to release a new EP named Vincent. The band will distribute 10´000 units of the record for free on their shows.

Band members

The band's current members (since 2002) are Axel Rüst (vocals, acoustic guitar, bass), Christian Kofler (electric guitar), Philipp Koch (electric guitar, backing vocals, melodica), Stefan Schneider (drums, percussion, programming) and Lorenz Bader (bass guitar, backing vocals).
