Part of the town's area is occupied by the 'Cádiz Bay' Natural Park and there are different ecosystems like countryside, pinewoods, marsh and beaches. At about 6 km from the town center there is Novo Sancti Petri, a tourist resort with a high quality range of hotels and facilities.
